Since 19th December 2011 the Immigration and Asylum Chambers no longer accept appeals at UK embassies or High commissions abroad. All appeals must be submitted to the IAC directly in the UK. The IAC have also introduced fees for appeals against immigration and asylum decision. The fees are as follows;
80 pounds Appeals to be determined on paper
130 pounds Appeal to determined at an oral hearing
Immigration Appeal Process
All decisions which attract a right of appeal are subject to deadlines. The following is a general guideline and should not be applied to your cases unless confirmed with a qualified advisor:
2 working days if decision served on you whilst you are detained in UK
Immigration detention
10 working days inside the UK
28 days outside the UK
